Description
This is a slow growing moderate Nitrogen fixer and has a good potential for a chop and drop mulch system. It’s a multi-stemmed, late spring purple flowering New England native shrub that tucks in well along the edge of a forest. Listed as potentially invasive in CT, keep an eye on seed spread if you’re not coppicing for mulch.
